Father's Support Group

Our support groups continue to grow! We have had an amazing year with our Mom’s Support Group, Grandparents support Group, Parents and Extended Family Member Support Group, St.Thomas Parents Group, and Sibling Support Group. Thank you to all the hard work from our facilitators as well as all the members.

This coming fall we would like to start a Father’s Support Group. We have had many requests for this group and have now started our search for a facilitator and co-facilitator.

The facilitator would be responsible to:

  1. Attend all meetings or have the co-facilitator step in.
  2. Be the main communication source between the group and RCP.
  3. Report an overview of each meeting to RCP.
  4. Facilitate the group conversations as well as help organize speakers and
    topics.

There will be help available for the facilitator and all meetings will be held at our office 600 Sanatorium Road . The date and time will be chosen once we know a better number for the group.

If you would be interested in becoming a facilitator, or interested in just becoming a member please e-mail Alicia directly at rcplondon@autismontario.com or 519 433 3390.

We need to make sure this group will be a success and will determine if it is a go by the number of e-mails we receive back.

2010 Faces of Autism Calendar

We are now gathering pictures for the 2010 Faces of Autism Calender.

If anyone has pictures from the past year they would like to submit, please forward them to the office by September 15th, 2009.

We will then try to have the printed and available for our Ride and Stride on September 27th and for our October awareness events.

Forward them by email to autismlondon.office@gmail.com or drop off at the office 600 Sanatorium Road, Unit 1, London N6H 3W7
