The Monarch Project at Nancy Campbell Collegiate Institute
I am pleased to invite you to attend a parent’s forum to discuss a new and innovative program for children with high-functioning autism, Asperger’s syndrome and related disorders.
The Monarch Project seeks to provide a comprehensive social and academic learning environment based on current best practice from a variety of fields. The program is currently designed for elementary students who present with challenges in the areas of socialization, communication and peer relations and the primary goal is to create lasting change by enabling each student to realize his or her fullest potential and become as independent as possible.
In order to make this program a success we need to learn more about your needs and the educational and therapeutic needs of your child. It is your experiences, both as parents and as members of the autism community that will help us to build the best program possible.
Please join us on for an open dialogue about the future of this program.
Monday, October 5th @ 6:30 p.m.
at Nancy Campbell Collegiate Institute (in the cafeteria)

Father's Support Group
Our support groups continue to grow! We have had an amazing year with our Mom’s Support Group, Grandparents support Group, Parents and Extended Family Member Support Group, St.Thomas Parents Group, and Sibling Support Group. Thank you to all the hard work from our facilitators as well as all the members.
This coming fall we would like to start a Father’s Support Group. We have had many requests for this group and have now started our search for a facilitator and co-facilitator.
The facilitator would be responsible to:
- Attend all meetings or have the co-facilitator step in.
- Be the main communication source between the group and RCP.
- Report an overview of each meeting to RCP.
- Facilitate the group conversations as well as help organize speakers and
topics.
There will be help available for the facilitator and all meetings will be held at our office 600 Sanatorium Road . The date and time will be chosen once we know a better number for the group.
If you would be interested in becoming a facilitator, or interested in just becoming a member please e-mail Alicia directly at rcplondon@autismontario.com or 519 433 3390.
We need to make sure this group will be a success and will determine if it is a go by the number of e-mails we receive back.
